| Important Dates |
| April 14 Deadline to volunteer for Nomination or Tellers committees. April 15-30 Leadership team applications open. May 1-15 Elections open. |
| Committee Roles |
| Chairs and members of the Nomination and Tellers committees may not run for leadership positions in this election. However, it is a great way to be involved if you have the free time now; the commitment period is from April-May of this year. These roles will be filled on a first come first serve volunteer basis. If you are interested, send us an email at nal@swe.org with the subject line “Committee Volunteer.” Nomination Committee Chair Receive and review applications for leadership positions and assemble a ballot based on submissions. Communicate directly with section president. Nomination Committee Member Assist chair in receipt and review of applications for leadership positions. Verify the ballot is correct prior to submission. Tellers Committee Chair Tally votes after the election period has ended. Confer with Tellers Committee Member to confirm accurate count. Submit results to section president. | Leadership Roles |
| By joining the leadership team, you agree to a year-long commitment to your assigned duties, from July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025. Weekly commitment time varies depending on events and the time of year, but expect to commit approximately 1 hour a week to projects/meetings. All leadership team candidates must be paid SWE members by the time their role is assumed. The open positions are listed below.
